Microsoft launched technology research lab as part of its "Live" initiative. The two efforts - Live Labs and Search Labs will be researching on Microsoft Live technologies and MSN Search technologies respectively. The labs are setup in line with the company's agile strategy to compete with Google and Yahoo!
